===Wisdom (Wis)===&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Wisdom describes a character’s willpower, common sense, perception, and intuition. While [[SRD:Intelligence|Intelligence]] represents one’s ability to analyze information, Wisdom represents being in tune with and aware of one’s surroundings. Wisdom is the most important ability for [[SRD:Cleric|clerics]] and [[SRD:Druid|druids]], and it is also important for [[SRD:Paladin|paladins]] and [[SRD:Ranger|rangers]]. If you want your character to have acute senses, put a high score in Wisdom. Every [[SRD:Creature|creature]] has a Wisdom score.&lt;br /&gt;

You apply your character’s Wisdom modifier to:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
* [[SRD:Will Save|Will saving throws]] (for negating the effect of [[SRD:Charm Person|charm person]] and other [[SRD:Spells|spells]]).&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
* [[SRD:Heal Skill|Heal]], [[SRD:Listen Skill|Listen]], [[SRD:Profession Skill|Profession]], [[SRD:Sense Motive Skill|Sense Motive]], [[SRD:Spot Skill|Spot]], and [[SRD:Survival Skill|Survival]] checks. These are the skills that have Wisdom as their [[SRD:Key Ability|key ability]].&lt;br /&gt;

[[SRD:Cleric|Clerics]], [[SRD:Druid|druids]], [[SRD:Paladin|paladins]], and [[SRD:Ranger|rangers]] get bonus [[SRD:Spells|spells]] based on their Wisdom scores. The minimum Wisdom score needed to cast a [[SRD:Cleric Spell|clerics]], [[SRD:Druid Spell|druids]], [[SRD:Paladin Spell|paladins]], or [[SRD:Ranger Spell|rangers]] [[SRD:Spell|spell]] is 10 + the [[SRD:Spell Level|spell’s level]].&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Any [[SRD:Creature|creature]] that can perceive its environment in any fashion has at least 1 point of Wisdom. Anything with no Wisdom score is an [[SRD:Object|object]], not a [[SRD:Creature|creature]]. Anything without a Wisdom score also has no [[SRD:Charisma|Charisma]] score.&lt;br /&gt;
